LexisNexis Digital Library: New Content!

The Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library is excited to announce that its LexisNexis Digital Library now features content published by the American Bar Association (ABA). More than 700 ABA titles covering 84 subjects are now available for free to all law library patrons. Subjects range from general practice and litigation to technology and law practice management. Practice areas include commercial law; criminal law; employment and labor law; estate, gift, and trust law; family law; government law; health care law; and so much more. Users will have access to the ABA’s What Is and Little Book series, which are concise treatises about topics such as copyright, telemedicine, Elvis, and BBQ, in addition to the following titles:

  • Solo and Small Firm Technology Guide

  • Annotated Model Rules of Professional Conduct

  • Infectious Disease Litigation

  • A Lawyer’s Guide to Working with Special Needs Clients

  • Creating an Online Publishing Strategy for Law Firms

  • Contact Drafting: Powerful Prose in Transactional Practice

  • ABA Standards for Criminal Justice

  • Ethics and Environmental Practice

 All you need to unlock this content is an eBook account. If you do not have an eBook account, visit our Digital Collection webpage and click on the link to Request an Account. If you are new to the Digital Collection, please visit the LexisNexis Digital Library Support and Training Page.

LexisNexis eBooks are also available on any internet-connected device. The Digital Library is compatible with the latest versions of Google, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge. If you prefer, you can read on the go by downloading the Digital Library app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
