Legal Research with a Side of Vaccine

Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library - Socially distanced computer area

At the Law Library, we want to connect our patrons with the most useful legal and government information available. During this time of public health concern, information about obtaining a COVID-19 vaccine is of peak concern, and it is clear why. In recent months, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued guidance that individuals who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can begin resuming the activities they did prior to the pandemic (See, CDC – Vaccines for COVID-19).

Harris County Public Health has created an easy process that allows everyone to register for the vaccine through HCPH and other local providers on their website. To help all of our patrons access the tools they need to get vaccinated and help get things back to normal, we have added the HCPH website as a convenient shortcut to every public computer in the Law Library. So, the next time you have a legal research appointment at the Law Library, be sure to check out the COVID-19 vaccine information and help move the needle back to “Normal.”
