Apply now for Women in International Law Mentoring Program

Originally published by Lindsay Stafford Mader.

Applications are due July 1 for the American Society of International Law’s Women in International Law Mentoring Program. Now in its fourth year, the program is a project of ASIL’s Women in International Law Interest Group. It aims to build a global network of female international law professionals and to foster the next generation of female international lawyers.

The mentoring program connects experienced female international law attorneys with female law students and new attorneys who are interested in exploring the field of international law. Each mentor has no more than four mentees, and they meet every two months to discuss topics that prepare mentees to enter and be successful in international law. So far the program has brought together 364 women in 9 countries and 27 cities, from Tucson to Singapore.

For more information on the program and applications instructions, go to ASIL’s website or email wiligmentorship@asil.org.
