No appointment is necessary.

Veterans or spouses of deceased veterans can receive one-on-one advice from volunteer attorneys in any area of law, including family, wills and probate, real estate, and tax law. Those who qualify for ongoing legal representation may be assigned a pro bono attorney to handle their case.

The clinics are hosted by the Houston Bar Foundation’s Veterans Legal Initiative, a coalition of local bar associations that provides pro bono legal services to veterans in 18 counties in Texas. The Richmond Clinic is co-sponsored by Fort Bend Lawyers Care and the Fort Bend County Bar Association.

For more information, contact the Veterans Legal Initiative at 713-759-1133 or visit hba.org.
