Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program to host virtual legal clinic

Originally published by Eric Quitugua.

DVAP, a joint initiative of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, and Hunton Andrews Kurth will host a virtual clinic from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 16.

Dallas County residents interested in attending the virtual clinic may receive help in family law, probate, consumer law, estate planning, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and expunctions, among other areas of law (excluding criminal).

Those who would like to apply for free legal assistance are asked to fill out the form online tinyurl.com/DVAPClinic.

Once participants complete the form, attorneys will call them on April 16 from an unknown number labeled “No Caller ID” or something similar, a press release from DVAP said.

For more information, go to dallasvolunteerattorneyprogram.org or call DVAP Director Michelle Alden at 214-243-2234.
