All HBA and HVL-sponsored veterans legal clinics scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, as well as Community-Based Outpatient Clinics, have been canceled until further notice.
In a news release, the Houston Bar said the decision was made with the health and safety of the public in mind in an effort to minimize potential exposure to COVID-19.
The Veterans Legal Initiative is a program of the HBA and HVL with funding from the Texas Access to Justice Foundation, Houston Bar Foundation, and the Texas Veterans Commission.
