New Texas lawyers to be inducted November 21

Hundreds of Texas’ newest lawyers will be officially sworn in the morning of November 21 at the State Bar of Texas New Lawyers Induction Ceremony.

Nearly 3,000 new lawyers passed the July 2016 Texas Bar Examination and are eligible to be inducted at the event, which will be at 10 a.m. at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.

If you will be attending, you’ll notice that the construction of the Dell Medical School Project is still underway and some streets and parking lots are closed. Attendees are encouraged to park in the UT Health Center Garage.

Street Changes

  • Parts of Red River Street are closed between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 15th Street.
  • 15th Street lanes have shifted, so traffic can be somewhat heavy during morning rush hour.
